Susann Craig Closet Clearance Sale
Shop for a cause!

The Susann Craig Closet Clearance Sale at Intuit is an annual fundraiser that includes thousands of new, gently used, and vintage accessory and clothing items donated from Chicago’s best retailers, closets, manufacturers and designers. Offering all sizes for all seasons, Closet Clearance takes place on the museum’s second floor for three days over two weekends.

  • Saturday, October 23, 11 a.m.–6 p.m. | SOLD OUT
  • Sunday, October 24, 12–5 p.m.
  • Saturday, October 30, 12–3 p.m. | SOLD OUT

Everything must go on the last day of the fundraiser! Pay $20 for a bag to fill with all the items that suit your fancy. All coats are discounted by 50%.

The event is free and open to all. Shop one-of-a-kind clothing items that speak to your style or find the accessory you need to complete this year’s Halloween costume, all while raising funds for Intuit. 100% of the Closet Clearance Sale proceeds directly support the museum’s exhibitions and programs celebrating outsider art.

All Closet Clearance Sale shoppers must follow the museum’s health and safety procedures. Intuit is closely monitoring COVID-19 guidelines established by local, state and federal authorities and will promptly share information that affects the Closet Clearance Sale.

This year’s Closet Clearance Sale is hosted by the Young Professionals Board in honor of the late Susann Craig, a founder of Intuit and the force behind Closet Clearance for many years.

Thank you, Closet Clearance Sale donors!

Intuit is no longer accepting donations of accessory and clothing items for the 2021 event.
