Outsider Art in the Classroom
Intuit believes that young people can deepen their creative and critical thinking skills by engaging with outsider art. The curriculum resources provided here encourage educators to bring self-taught artists’ work into classrooms and broaden students’ cultural awareness. The Henry Darger Resource Kit for Educators and curriculum written by current and former Teacher Fellows provide educators and students with interactive and compelling activities and lessons that will facilitate meaningful learning experiences.
