Workshop Description
Fiber artist Marty Warfel will introduce techniques and guide participants through the process of hand painting on silk with dye. Each participant will paint their own design on a silk handkerchief.
Participants are encouraged to bring reference images, books and other inspirations! We also suggest bringing personal brushes; please note that the fiber reactive dyes utilized in the workshop can stain natural brush fibers. Headphones to listen to personal audio while working are welcome.
