Project Onward Spring Portrait Slam

Intuit welcomes back Project Onward for another Portrait Slam and pop-up sale! Seven artists from Project Onward will be at the museum, ready to create a personalized painting for you to keep or share with a loved one. You can choose to sit for your portrait or bring a photo of you or your pet from which the artists can work (as much as we love animals, we ask you do not bring your pets to the museum). Each session takes about 30 minutes to complete.

Meet the artists!

Portraits begin at $30 for individuals; the price will increase by $10 for each additional subject.

There’s limited availability, so we recommend scheduling your session in advance! To do so, contact Whitney Oliver, studio manager at Project Onward, at whitney.oliver@projectonward.org. Walk-ins are welcome, pending artist availability. Payments will be accepted on-site at the session (cash or credit card accepted).

Project Onward

Project Onward in black and white text, "onward" written in a black arrowProject Onward is a studio and gallery that supports the professional development of artists with exceptional talents and challenges, ranging from developmental disabilities to mental illness. The organization provides these artists with workspace, materials, professional guidance, exhibition opportunities, and access to markets to sell their work and advance their careers. Learn more about Project Onward at www.projectonward.org.

All Portrait Slam participants must follow the museum’s health and safety procedures. When sitting for their portrait, participants are allowed to remove their face coverings but must put them back on when they return to the gallery spaces. Intuit is closely monitoring COVID-19 guidelines established by local, state and federal authorities and will promptly share information that affects the Portrait Slam.
