Celebrate with Intuit the opening of The Life and Death of Charles Williams at the exhibition’s evening reception from 5–8 p.m. on Friday, December 10! The exhibition—curated by Phillip March Jones with contributions by Paul Arnett, Daniel Fuller, FREAKO, Y. Malik Jalal, Frank X. Walker and Melissa Watt—is the first major solo exhibition of Williams’ oeuvre. Traveling to Chicago after initially appearing at the Atlanta Contemporary in 2020, the show features a breadth of Williams’ assemblages, drawings and sculptures from throughout his artistic career. Jones will present opening remarks at the reception.

Admission to the reception is $5 for adults and free for guests age 18 and under and members. Reserve timed-entry tickets in advance through Tock or contact (312) 624-9487 or intuit@art.org and an Intuit staff member will assist you.

All guests must follow the museum’s health and safety procedures. Intuit is closely monitoring COVID-19 guidelines established by local, state and federal authorities and will promptly share information that affects the opening reception.
