Marvin Tate
A multidisciplinary artist, Marvin Tate’s works have been heard and seen at Vision Festival, on BBC Radio, and in Amsterdam, Philadelphia, New York City, Paris, and London. Angel Olsen, Tim Kinsella, Theaster Gates and The Black Monks, and the Chicago Children’s Choir have recorded songs he’s written. Presently, Tate is the first artist in residence at Theater Y, where he has acted in several plays. In addition to his performances, his visual art has been featured in exhibitions, including at Intuit.
