Non-Circulating Library Collection

The Robert A. Roth Study Center is a non-circulating collection with a primary focus in the fields of outsider and contemporary self-taught art. The Study Center’s holdings contain an extensive and growing library of books, catalogs, periodicals, slides, photographs, films and archive materials. As a public resource that complements the museum’s educational mission, the Study Center is open to students and scholars interested in pursuing further research into intuitive, self-taught and outsider art and artists. Access to the collections is dependent on staff availability. Please review the Collection Development Policy if you are considering a donation to the Study Center. To access the collections, all visitors must practice the procedures outlined in Intuit’s Archive, Collection and Study Center Procedures document.
