Job Title: Store Sales Associate

Position Summary
The Store Sales Associate (SSA) is knowledgeable about the Museum and all it has to offer. The ideal candidate for this position will have retail experience, enjoy interacting with guests and have an appreciation for art. This position reports to the Intuit Store Manager and works collaboratively with the Operations Manager and the Guest Experience Associate Team. The SSA is responsible for welcoming guests to the Intuit Store, introducing them to the product offering and completing sales transactions. The SSA is also responsible for maintaining the e-Commerce site and the upkeep of visual merchandising standards in the store.
Key Responsibilities

- Process sales transactions on the selling floor
- Assist guests with items on the floor
- Ring sales on iPad or on iPhone with Shopify
- Wrap packages for guests
- Enter customers into the CRM database
- Complete daily replenishment of items sold from Shopify reports
- Perform daily cleaning of fixtures and straightening of merchandise
- Maintain e-Commerce site and check for web-orders
- Prepare items for pick-up and shipment
- Assist the Store Manager with building and maintaining the Shopify site
- Assist the GEA team at front desk as needed
- Check store email and assist Store Manager with guest issues and requests
- Assist Store Manager with Visual Merchandising of the store
- Remain vigilant for potential loss/theft of store merchandise
- Other duties as assigned

- Comfortable interacting and engaging with guests
- Ability to walk around the store to assist guests with purchases
- Ability to lift boxes ranging from 20-50 pounds
- Ability to climb a ladder as needed
Skills & Qualifications

- Retail selling experience (1-2 years of experience preferred)
- The ability to create a welcoming and engaging environment
- Working knowledge of Shopify POS and e-Commerce
- Visual merchandising experience a plus
- Familiarity with digital devices and personal technologies
- Knowledge of or interest in art
- Exceptional observational skills
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evening, weekend shifts, and holidays
Compensation & Schedule

- This is a Part-Time, Hourly position compensated at $18 per hour
- Part-Time Store Sales Associates are scheduled Wednesday through Sunday, plus alternating Tuesdays once the museum reopens in May, for a maximum of 28 hours per week.
- Until then, 3-4 days a week are required.
- Flexibility for day, evening, weekend and select holiday availability is required.
