Marketing Internship


Reports to: Marketing Coordinator
Pay Category: Unpaid
Other compensation: Occasional food plus travel
Required Hours: 15-20 hours per week (2-3 days per week)

Overview of responsibilities:

  • Assist in the production of marketing content for print, email, web, and social media platforms
  • Monitor and moderate interaction on these platforms as well as analyze data from various outlets
  • Develop press releases and other public relations content
  • Establish mutually beneficial community partnerships
  • Research ways to expand Intuit's digital and print reach
  • Assist with special projects as assigned
  • Provide general support to the Marketing Coordinator
  • Interact with staff, board members, volunteers, interns, curators, artists, lenders, vendors, museum visitors, and other constituents through written and verbal communication on a regular basis

Desired skills and qualifications:

  • Previous marketing, public relations, advertising or creative internship/volunteer experience preferred
  • PC skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Flickr, YouTube, and more
  • Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or other design program proficiency preferred
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • High level of professionalism
  • Good interpersonal skills
