The Roger Brown Study Collection (RBSC), of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) is an Artists' Museum and archive, preserved intact in Intuit founder Roger Brown’s former home and studio at 1926 N. Halsted Street. The RBSC is an intimate home collection with a wondrous range of objects including works by Chicago artists, a deep representation of self-taught artists, folk and tribal art from many cultures, objects from material and popular culture, costumes, textiles, furniture, travel souvenirs, and other things Brown surrounded himself with for artistic inspiration. The RBSC is a member of the At Home in Chicago consortium and the Historic Artists' Homes and Studios program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The RBSC and Intuit are sister, brother or cousin institutions. Intuit’s first home was at 1926 N. Halsted, and Intuit was at home in the Collection. Join us for an intimate tour with curator Lisa Stone.
Space is limited to 20 guests, so reserve your spot today!
