Unlike most self-taught artists, William Hawkins often worked from his own photos rather than from memory while Hawkins Bolden created scarecrows with “faces” from old pots and buckets. Taking inspiration from Hawkins / Hawkins: One Saw Everything, One Saw Nothing, instructors Jerry Stefl and Regina Mamou will teach you how to creatively reuse household items and recycle them into your own artwork.
Free coffee, juice and cookies will be served during the workshop. Open to all ages. CPDUs are available for CPS teachers. To reserve your space, email email@example.com.
